This is what turned Hyakkimaru into the killing machine that he is today. From the time he learned to walk. Hyakkimaru had an unquenchable fire of vengeance burning inside of him. Trained and educated as a decent human being. a large portion of his innate humanity was also lost along with his limbs. leaving only a maddened killing machine. which his friend Dororo seeks to contain everyday.
